Yair

Yair is an Aspect and was one of two angels beloved by Aeon and granted apotheosis. He appears as a male Lumina with six white wings, clad in armor, fiery robes and often wielding a short spear and shield.

Aeon created the first Aspects by imbuing his favorite attendants with the powers of the divine. Yair and Ayla were two angels tasked with directly assisting Aeon. As the two continuously proved themselves to be exceptional and dependable, Aeon granted each the choice to ascend to godhood to further increase their capacity to assist him in his duties. Yair was given dominion over the sun and the day while Ayla the moon and night.

Yair watches over the realms during the day and is often invoked during legal proceedings in the hopes that the truth will come to light. It is not uncommon to find people accused of crimes making trips to his temples to make an offering before their trial—whether they are innocent or not. Yair is also invoked along with his counterpart during marital rites to validate the legal aspects of the marriage. He is even worshipped by farmers, in conjunction with other gods, as an agricultural deity.

Common worship practices include making offerings to Yair at noon when the sun is at its highest peak.

Spheres of Influence

Yair is god of the Sun and the Light; however, over time he has taken up the dominions of Law, Truth, and Marriage as well.
