Submit your Backstory

Once you have created your character, email your character concept, backstory, and skill selection for final approval at: backstories@thehellshroudproject.ca

A staff member will contact you as soon as they are able. Allow at least a week to pass before you reach out again should you not receive a response.

Unlock Fee

Once your character has been approved by our Backstory team, you will need to pay our $10 character unlock fee. This is a one time fee in place to compensate for data storage which allows you to create up to two characters.

Player Intake Forms

Before a player can attend a game, they must sign our Player Intake Form and Liability Waiver. These documents allow our Medical Marshals to be aware of emergency details and contact information to ensure everyone’s safety at game and formally acknowledges the physical and immersive nature of LARP, protecting both participants and staff.

After the character unlock fee has been paid, Logistics will email the intake forms for signature.

The information on these documents will not be shared with anyone except pertinent staff members.

Pre-log

Keep an eye on our Events page and social media accounts for official game announcements. We highly recommend joining our Discord server where you can ask questions to staff, and talk to other players.

Two weeks prior to any scheduled event, “Pre-log” opens to allow players to register and pay game fees in advance.

Once pre-log is live, players can email Logistics to secure your spot at game and submit any production requests at: logistics@thehellshroudproject.ca
