Vetra
Vetra is an Aspect who was once a Fae living among Elementals. The rare times she has been spotted in mortal form, Vetra has taken the shape of a young woman adorned with white fur that look like clouds.
In the northern reaches of the supercontinent, a small fox found itself separated from its kin. The fox braved blistering winds and managed to evade predators. Finding food, however, was a challenge. Eventually the fox found a small cave where it could stay hidden from the elements, but the shelter came a moment too late, and the fox collapsed out of exhaustion. Watching the fox, a curious water elemental made its way over. It poked and prodded the fox, but when the fox did not respond, it grew irate. It recruited the assistance of a nearby sylph and gnome. The trio brought the fox fish to eat and helped carry the fox deeper into the cave so it could stay warm. They nursed the fox back to good health. The fox, nervous at first, grew to love and care for the elementals. Over time, the fox grew in power that exceeded that of an average Fae and rivaled the Gentry. The newly energized Fae forsook its own kind and began to live exclusively with the Elementals. Over time she took a more humanoid form and rumors spread of what appeared to be a young women that would lash out at anyone who threatened the natural inhabitants of her tundra. Her power continued to grow and grow, and it wasn’t long until she reached the level of an Aspect. Though she never took a name herself, those who came to know her called her Vetra.
Vetra is a fickle and indifferent goddess. She does not bother herself with the concerns of mortals and instead only follows her own ever changing impulses. When mortals pray and make offerings to Vetra, it is rarely done out of out of reverence, but rather as a means to an end whether it be for good weather to ensure safe travels or to help the crops grow.

Symbols associated with Vetra include a compass, lightning bolts, and foxes and she is often referred to as Cloud rider, “Tempestuous”, and Sky Shaker.
